WELL Local Seed Grants

Twice each year, at the beginning of the 2nd Quarter and at the beginning of the 4th Quarter, WELL awards mini-grants (between $50 and $2,000) to projects and programs within the 95490 Zip Code that we believe are working to achieve the same vision that we are: an enduring local economy that provides health and security for our community. We set aside an amount from our general budget and add to each cycle those amounts that are contributed as a directed donations to the Seed Grant Fund

Our first round of awards, distributed on Oct 1, 2007, were called the WELL MidWIFE Fund grants.  On reflection, we believed that the MidWIFE name might be causing some confusion, so we have changed the name to WELL Local Seed Grants.  A three page packet including introduction, instructions, and application are downloadable from this page.

Past Distribution Cycles:

October 1, 2007 - Listing

WELL Local Seed Grant Packet - Deadline for Spring 2008 distribution - February 15, 2008.
